I told you I was terrible at keeping up with these things, tried a diary once and I lasted maybe three days, not sure if its because I'm lazy or what.
So i have been listening to the audio book version of " After the ecstasy, the laundry," by Jack Kornfield . Its a great book and he is one of my favorite Buddhist writers. I wonder how many years we spend looking for something spiritually before we realize it has always been right there. Just a thought.
I cant wait for the Hobbit to come out in the theaters.
So Iain took his Ocarina to school for show and tell and played all of the Legend of Zelda songs he knew, one of the Kids in his class who can do everything said "Wow I could never do that!" what ego boost for Iain as he has been in a bit of a funk lately about his capabilities compared to other kids his age. I sometimes wish I could take over for him, be right there and say okay now when this happens do this, when he comes to a difficult situation. But I suppose that's how we grow.
That's all for now
Ciao
